Enrichment programs run from October through the end of May
Books and Beyond
Tuesdays 12:30-2:30
In this program children will explore the world of art and literacy in an interesting and exciting setting. Creative and varied activities will be presented to your child each class to immerse them in all the treasures that literature has to offer. Children will be exposed to various forms of mediums as well, allowing them to express themselves through process art. Well chosen books will be used as stepping stones to expand on your child's ability to follow a story line, follow a sequence of events, and practice listening skills. This class will provide the opportunity to spend more time with favorite authors, illustrators, and characters.
Children must be 4 by December 1 to enroll in this class.

Science
Thursdays 12:30-2:30
Good education begins with a child's natural curiosity. This enrichment class will take that curiosity and unleash the magic and mystery of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Teachers will utilize creative thinking activities, hands-on experiments, shared and cooperative experiences and literature to expose your child to the elements of the scientific method (observation, hypothesis, prediction, experimentation and evaluation). These varied activities will allow your child to discover the world of science and math in a fun and age appropriate manner.
Children must be 4 by December 1 to enroll in this class.
