Truly an incredible program from 2s on up. Flexible, nurturing, caring and loving environment that meets each child AT their level. All of the teachers aspire to help children grow socially, verbally, and academically. Their family centered approach helps not only the child, but the families, as they navigate the early years prior to school. Their close, working relationship with the Pittsford schools ensures their oldest learners are ready for kindergarten. With evolving programs to meet the community's needs, you couldn't ask for a more perfect preschool. My oldest STILL asks to visit as a 2nd grader, my middle cried when the year was over and has a countdown to next year going. I'm excited that I still have a 3rd to go through because I'll be sad when they're all school age!

We can't say enough good things about our experience at Christ Clarion Preschool! They are a gifted team who inspire a creative and fun, play-based learning environment. Our teachers have partnered and collaborated with us to meet each of our daughters "where they are" to ensure they get the most out of their preschool experience. What perhaps resonates the most is the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Christ Clarion Preschool. Each day we are greeted with a big smile that sets the tone for a great day. As an alumni from the early 70's, and parent of two children who have attended in the last few years, I can attest to the incredible caring and professional staff and great experience we had at this school. Both of my children have a disability, and the staff at Christ Clarion was incredibly receptive to working with their providers and gave our children a positive and enriching preschool experience.

In selecting a preschool we felt that it was a weighty decision because it would be our son's first school experience, and we wanted it to be a positive one. We are beyond pleased with the three years our son spent at Christ Clarion Community Preschool (and look forward to sending our daughter in another year). Our son participated in the 3 and 4-year-old programs, as well as the Literacy and Science Enrichment classes. He enjoyed his time with the different teachers in each of these programs. The teacher pairs work well together. Though each unique, they created a warm, nurturing learning environment for our son. There is an emphasis on learning through play but there is also structure during meeting/circle times, and the teachers model appropriate behavior and social interactions through playful exchanges, too. The teachers were available and quick to respond whenever a concern arose, and parent involvement is welcomed. Birthdays and holidays are celebrated, and there are other special days throughout the year - all great memory making opportunities for children! Since he would have been a very young 5-year-old entering kindergarten, we decided - with input from the teachers - to give our son an extra "gift" year of preschool. We saw such social-emotional growth in that extra year and know he is ready for full day K this fall. We only wish we could have taken advantage of the new Transitional K program now being offered!

Christ Clarion was THE BEST for our family! I have a child with a disability and we checked out many schools to find the one that would be the right fit. The Director, Lisa Wrona, was phenomenal, and my child's teachers were wonderful - welcoming and warm. They never batted an eye at our questions or at our child's sepcific needs. They communicated frequently and collaborated with us to make sure that our child was happy and having the best possible preschool experience. My child made many friends there and still talks about what a great place it was.
