Teacher Biographies
Christ Clarion is blessed with a highly qualified teaching staff.  Note that each has been awarded a degree specifically in education.  
 

Our Directors:

Chris Monaghan

•   B.A. Elementary Education, Minor in Art, State University of New York at New Paltz
•   M.S. in Education, Nazareth College
•   Taught for nine years as a first and second grade teacher in Wappingers Falls and the Rush Henrietta School District.  
•   Worked for two years as a reading and math remedial teacher in the Rush Henrietta School District.  
•   She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 1997 and has been co-director since 2003.

Lisa Wrona

•   B.S. in Education from State University of New York at Cortland.
•   A.S. in Day Care Administration from Cazenovia College.
•   Director and Head teacher of Presbyterian Church Nursery School in Morristown, NJ for three years.
•   Assistant School Director and Kindergarten Teacher at Bright Beginnings Learning Center in Palisades Park, NJ for three years.
•   She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 2002 and was appointed co-director in 2006.

Our Teachers:

Eleni Beyer

•  

B.A. in Psychology, Allegheny College

 M.S. in Education from Syracuse University
•   Substitute teacher at Christ Clarion as well as other schools.
•   Teaches piano to young children  
•   Counselor at the college level  
•  

She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 2005.


Bonnie Dunn

  •   B.S. in Elementary Education Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
•   Taught fourth grade in the Indiana Area School District in Indiana PA
•   Taught preschool in Level Green, PA
•   Taught children's classes at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh.  
•   She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 1998.

Cathy Fields

•   B.A. in English with an Education minor, St. Lawrence University.  
•   Graduate courses in Education and Student Teaching at Northwestern.  
•   She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 1996.

Debbie Gaudion

•   B.A. in Education with concentrations in French and English, Bucknell University
•   M.S. in Education from Nazareth College
•   Has been a student director of the Upward Bound Program
•   Has been a substitute teacher at Christ Clarion and the Harley School  
•   She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 2005.


Sherry Orcutt

  •   B.S. in Education from State University College at Oswego
•   M.S. in Education from Nazareth
•   Previously taught in the Webster School District from 1991-1998 and taught Universal pre-kindergarten in Webster
•   She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 2010 after serving as a substitute teacher 

Julie Wright
•   B.S. Elementary Education, State University of New York at Geneseo
•   M.S. Early Childhood Education, Nazareth College.
•   Taught kindergarten in Phelps-Clifton Springs for eight years  
•   Substitute teacher at Christ Clarion Preschool
•   She has been teaching at Christ Clarion since 2006.
